How Ruption works
Two ways to trade. Buy what is already listed, or tell us what you need and let matched suppliers come to you. Either way Ruption charges a fee for the introduction — the deal itself is yours.
For buyers

Search or requestBrowse classifieds and bidding items, or raise a request when nothing matches.

CompareUp to five supplier responses side by side on price, lead time, warranty and location.

Agree a dealChoose a response, buy at the asking price, or win a bid. The seller is notified immediately.

Settle directlyOnce Ruption’s fees are paid the contacts are exchanged and you invoice and pay each other.
For sellers

RegisterOne account buys and sells. Turn on selling in your account details.

List and pay the feeThe listing fee is based on value. A classified runs 3 months, a bidding item up to 30 days.

Nominate what you supplyType, make, model and components — only matching quote requests reach you.

Pay commission on successSliding scale by value. Contacts release and you invoice the buyer.

Fees are plus GST. Commission on a completed deal runs on a sliding scale from 8.5% on small items down to 2.5% on the largest. Ruption does not process the purchase payment and offers no warranty, refund or escrow.
