1
What Ruption is
Ruption is an introduction platform. We list equipment and parts, run bidding, and match quote requests to suppliers. We are not a party to any sale.
-
2
Fees
A listing fee is payable before a listing goes live, based on the value band. Commission is payable on a completed deal on a sliding scale from 8.5% down to 2.5%. A 2.25% buyer premium applies to bidding items only.
-
3
Payment for goods
Ruption collects its own fees only. The purchase price is invoiced and paid directly between buyer and seller once contact details are released.
-
4
Winning a bid
A bid is a binding commitment. If you win, you must proceed with the purchase. A seller may also accept a bid below reserve.
-
5
No warranty or refund
Items are sold as-is. Ruption gives no warranty, guarantee or refund, and does not inspect, verify or store any item.
-
6
Disputes
Any dispute over condition, payment or delivery is between buyer and seller. Ruption fees are non-refundable once contact details have been released.
-
7
Your content
Free-text fields are stored and readable by Ruption administrators. We may remove text or suspend an account, but we do not automatically screen or moderate content.
